Further along the coast you can explore the rivers of Mendihuaca, Buritaca, Don Diego and Palomino. Mendihauca is the slowest flowing and has the shortest paddle of these rivers. Rio Don Diego is the quietest especially in the week so its a great chance to see the wildlife. On Rio Buritaca you might be able to see the Howler Monkeys. Rio Palomino is probably the busiest with lots of people floating down the river on inflatable tubes.
